In addition to meeting the General Admissions Requirements, applicants to the following programs must also meet the following selective criteria.
Dental Assisting (Associate of Applied Science)
Applicants must be graduates from a Dental Assisting/Assistant diploma program and:
Applicants who have successfully completed a Dental Assisting/Assistant diploma program from any Concorde campus will receive block transfer credit totaling 35 semester credits. A graduate of a Concorde Dental Assisting diploma program is exempt from entrance requirements.
Graduates of Dental Assisting/ Assistant programs from non-Concorde regionally or nationally accredited post-secondary educational institutions recognized by the United States Department of Education may receive 35 semester credits upon evaluation of a transcript from the issuing school.
Dental Hygiene (Associate of Applied Science)
Seat selection for the Dental Hygiene program is typically determined 30 days prior to the program start date. A deposit of $400 is due within seven (7) days of being offered a seat in the program. This deposit is required in order to hold your place in the program and is refundable if you should decide not to continue with your enrollment prior to your start date. The time period for seat selection varies by campus based on the number of applicants.
Massage Therapy (Diploma)
Massage Therapy applicants under the age of 18 may be admitted provided that they will be 18 years old by the scheduled start date. A parent, legal guardian, or spouse of legal age must co-sign the Enrollment Agreement.
Medical Assisting (Associate of Applied Science)
Applicants must be graduates from a Medical Assisting/Assistant diploma program and:
Graduates of any Concorde Medical Assisting/Assistant program will receive 35 semester credits as a block transfer when enrolling in the Medical Assisting Associate of Applied Science program at Memphis. A graduate of a Concorde Medical Assisting diploma program is exempt from additional entrance requirements.
Graduates of a Medical Assisting/Assistant program from a non-Concorde regionally or nationally accredited post-secondary educational institutions recognized by the United States Department of Education may receive 35 semester credits as a block transfer upon evaluation of a transcript from the issuing school.
Medical Office Professional (Associate of Applied Science)
Applicants must be graduates from a Medical Office Professional/Assistant diploma program and:
Graduates of any Concorde Medical Office Professional/Assistant program will receive 35 semester credits as a block transfer when enrolling in the Medical Office Professional Associate of Applied Science program at Memphis. A graduate of a Concorde Medical Office Professional diploma program is exempt from additional entrance requirements.
Graduates of Medical Office Professional/Assistant program from non-Concorde regionally or nationally accredited post-secondary educational institutions recognized by the United States Department of Education may receive 35 semester credits upon evaluation of a transcript from the issuing school.
Neurodiagnostic Technology (Associate of Applied Science)
Students who have successfully completed the Polysomnographic Technology diploma program from the same campus, or are transferring into the program with the equivalent approved content from another Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Polysomnographic Technology diploma program will receive block transfer credit totaling 37.5 semester credits for BIOL1131, BIOL1301, ELEC1910, PSOM1217, PSOM1230, PSOM1311, PSOM1910, PSOM2316 and PSOM2317. The remaining number of credits required to complete the program is 46.5.
A graduate of a Concorde Polysomnographic Technology diploma program is exempt from additional entrance testing requirements. For other applicants, all other entrance requirements as outlined in the Admissions section of this catalog also apply.
Pharmacy Technician (Associate of Applied Science)
Applicants must be graduates from a Pharmacy Technician diploma program and:
Graduates of any Concorde Pharmacy Technician program will receive 27 semester credits as a block transfer when enrolling in the Pharmacy Technician Associate of Applied Science program at Memphis. A graduate of a Concorde Pharmacy Technician diploma program is exempt from additional entrance requirements.
Graduates of Pharmacy Technician programs from non-Concorde regionally or nationally accredited post-secondary educational institutions recognized by the United States Department of Education may receive 27 semester credits upon evaluation of a transcript from the issuing school.
Surgical Technology (Associate of Applied Science)
During the enrollment process, students will sign a disclosure to include the location of the campus where they will attend along with their address. If a student changes their address during their enrollment, they should contact the Campus Registrar at the location where they are enrolled.
