OTAP1251 : Occupational Therapy in Pediatrics Lab

This laboratory course provides hands on experiences that correspond to the didactic Occupational Therapy in Pediatrics course. Emphasis is placed on exploration of occupational therapy assessments, demonstration of selected practice skills, construction and use of assistive and adaptive equipment, and application of teaching–learning processes with pediatric clients and their families. Students engage in experiential learning to support occupational performance within pediatric practice contexts.
