OTAP1240 : Applied Kinesiology for OTAs
This course builds upon prior knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support occupational therapy assistant practice through applied analysis of movement, occupation, and activity. Content emphasizes the application of foundational theories, models of practice, and frames of reference to support client-centered occupational therapy interventions. Students examine the interaction of disease processes, occupation, and activity, with attention to therapeutic use of self, documentation, and discharge planning.
