OTAP1110 : Fieldwork Level I Clinical A

This course introduces foundational occupational therapy concepts through structured Level I fieldwork experiences integrated with mental health and foundational coursework. Students engage in guided observation, simulation, and applied learning activities that connect theory to practice while exploring occupational therapy roles across practice settings. Level I fieldwork is delivered through instructional methods, such as virtual and simulated environments, standardized patients, faculty-led experiences, and/or supervised practice activities, to ensure all students meet shared learning objectives. Emphasis is placed on reflective practice, professional behaviors, and introductory research-informed inquiry related to fieldwork and clinical experiences.
