BIOL1301 : Anatomy & Physiology
Anatomy and Physiology examines the structure and function of the human body and the interrelationships among its systems. Designed for students pursuing careers in the health sciences or related fields, this course provides a foundational understanding of how the body’s components work together to maintain homeostasis and sustain life. Topics include cellular structure and function, the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, and special sensory systems, as well as the endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. Emphasis is placed on the relationship between anatomical structures and physiological processes, preparing students for advanced study and clinical application in health-related disciplines.
