BIOL1303 : Anatomy & Physiology for Therapists

Anatomy & Physiology for Therapists introduces students to regional anatomy and how the skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems work together to support movement and function. The course builds on previous anatomy and physiology knowledge by focusing on major bones, joints, muscle groups, and nerves. Students learn how these structures interact to produce movement and how common injuries can limit function. With an applied focus, the course prepares learners for PTA and OTA programs by developing knowledge in movement analysis, anatomical terminology, and basic biomechanical concepts needed for future coursework.
